Derick Omondi (born in 2004):
Derick has Autism and Mental Handicap.
He is being trained to acquire self help skills like toileting, bathing, dressing, body hygiene etc
Derick likes listening to music.

He is a total orphan and therefore needs support in terms of basic needs

Chris Atho
(born in 2003):
Chris has Mental handicap and autism.
He is being trained to acquire basic self help skills like toothbrushing, bathing, toileting, body hygiene, dressing eating habits etc.
Chris like listening to music and would always imitate singing the songs heard. He likes the company of others much.

Amondi Aginga
(born in 1998):
Armondi has mental handicap and autism.
He is new in the school. He likes to play with footballs and looking after animals.

William Olali
(born in 2002):
William has mental handicap and autism.
He is being trained to acquire self help skills like brushing teeth, bathing , dressing toileting , eating habits, body hygiene. He likes listening to music and playing outside the classroom as part of knowledge of the environment.

PRE PRIMARY 1

Lilian Auma
(born in 1998):
Lilian has a severe mental handicap.

She is a total orphan and depends on other people to provide her educational and basic needs.

She is being trained on self help skills and manipulative activities.
She is a happy girl

Julius Omondi
(born in 1998):
Julius has a severe mental handicap.
Julius enjoys playing outside with other children. Further more likes building with blocks, watching cartoons and listening to music.

Perpetua Atieno
(born in 2001):
Perpetua has severe mental handicap.
She is a social and jovial girl. She likes sharing things with other children and enjoys listening to soft music.

Kevin Otieno (born in 2001):
Kevin has severe handicap.
He enjoys listening to music and watching computer games. He likes building blocks and shade pictures.

Kevin is a total Orphan and her parents cannot be traced. Needs support in terms of medication and basic needs

Lency Jane Adhiambo (born in 1995):
Lency has a severe mental handicap.
Lency likes visitors very much and get excited when visitors are at school or in classroom. Lency enjoys washing clothes, listening to music and watching computer games.

She is a total orphan and requires support in terms of medication and basic needs

Ronny Malago
(born in 1994):
Ronny has a severe mental handicap and physical handicap.
Ronny can’t walk by himself and need some help when he want to move to another place.
He enjoys viewing pictures in books and playing the drum.

Bryan Obiero
(born in ??):
Bryan is a student with down syndrome.
Bryan is a new boy in the school, and his interest is still being obsrved
He smiles a lot and looks a happy boy.

Gideon Daddy
(born in 1998):
Gideon has mental handicap.
He is learning basic social skills .
Gideon likes playing with blocks and huge beads he likes to make with them some necklaces.

Debra Jepchirchir (born in 2001):
Debra has a mental mind handicap.
At school she is learning basic social skills and she likes to do that very much.
She enjoys making necklaces with huge beads.

PRIMARY 2

Laura Adhiambo
(born in 1994):
Laura has mental handicap.
Laura is learning daily living skills at school. She is always happy and very friendly and enjoys music.

Trevor Onyango (born in 2001):
Trevor has mental handicap.
Trevor is learning daily living skills at school. He enjoys coloring drawn pictures and playing outside baloon.

Davis Ochieng (born in 2004):
Davis has mental handicap.
He enjoys outdoor activities. Davis likes singing and coloring drawn pictures.

Victor Otieno
(born in 1997):
Victor has mental handicap and speech problems, but his friends understands him when he uses gestures to communicate to them. Victor enjoys listening to music.

PRIMARY 3

Sharon Achieng (born in 1996):
Sharon has mental handicap.
Sharon is a new student in the class, at the moment she is here for observation. One of the things that she likes to do is making Necklasses using beads.

Victor Okello
(Born in 2001):
Victor has mental handicap.
Victor is new in the school, but he is very fast with his exercises . He likes playing with cards.

Joseph Otieno
(born in 1995):
Joseph has mental handicap.
Joseph is a very happy boy, he laughs a lot. He likes playing with cards.

Geoffrey Ochieng (born in 2000):
Geoffrey has mental handicap.
He likes coloring drawing pictures on the computer and also watching computer games. He enjoys making necklesses with beads.

WORKSHOP CLASS 1

Peter Oluoch
( Born in 1997):
Peter mental handicap.
He is mastering skills like cutting, playing in sand, preparing and painting. He is also able to make cleaning the compound also he likes to dance and follow the rhythms and singing familiar songs.

Alan Frederick Ochieng
(born in 1998):
Alan has mental handicap.
He is learning skills like cutting, planning and painting during the wood work lesson. He loves music and dancing.

Linus Egwe Agunga (born in 1989):
Linus has a mental mind handicap.
Linus likes cutting, planning, sand papering and painting during woodwork lesson
Linus is able to sing and claps to notation and he enjoys dancing.

WORKSHOP CLASS 2

Linet Atino
(born in 1995):
Linet has mental handicap.
She care for her self. She can express her needs and also attempt to make decisions. Everyday she works with beads and making necklaces, bracelet. She can also make simple stitches like tableclothes.

Albertina Akinyi
(born in 1991):
Albertina has mental handicap.
She loves to play with children. At home she likes weaving with the cream yellow colour and jungle green colour.

Rajab Bin Amin
(born in 1995): Rajab is epileptic and a mental handicap.
He likes to play with a ball. He likes making things like table clothes.

Moses Odhiambo
( born in 1993):
Moses has mental handicap and physical deformity
Moses is able to speak a little bit in English. He is doing waving and beatwork with assistance from the teacher. He likes singing.

Moses is a total orphan and cannot afford basic needs

Consolata Awino
(born in 1991):
Colsolata has mental handicap.
She is a very active girl she loves doing activities on her own. She loves farm work and taking care of the children.

Clinton Otieno
(born in 1994):
Cliton has mental handicap:
He likes to needle. In the class he is introduced to woodwork , needlework, home management and agriculture activity. The thing that he like the most is making table clothes.

Vivian Wetende:
Vivian has down syndrome. She likes cutting, swipping,cooking, cleaning and colouring. She is a girl with a lot of hobby's like preparing meals.

Charles Olela
(born in 1993):
Charles has mental handicap and speech problem.
He can follow instructions given by his parents and teachers. He works in the garden and feed the chickens.

Workshop class 3

Julius Odhambo
(born in 1987):
Julius has mental handicap and he has motor cordination problem.
He’s able to follow the instruction given. He helps feeding the birds and picking eggs. Julius is a total orphan and needs assistance.

Richard Ojuka
(born in 1996):
Richard has mental handicap.
Richard is a slow learner he need special assistance. he likes to play soccer. He’s working in the garden and cleaning the compound.

Samson Ochola
(born in 1993):
Samson mental handicap.
Samson has speech problems but he can follow instructions from other people. Samson works in the garden and also in the poultry farm.

Evans Okumu
(born in 1992):
Evans has mental handicap and speech problems.
He is a good hairdresser. When he grow up he want to open his own kiosk to start a barbershop.

Paul Otieno
(born in 1987):
Paul has mental handicap Paul has weak body.
He works in poultry farm and garden work. His parents are still alive but they are poor and cnnot afford to provide him with basic needs.

Gilbert Osake
(born in 1982):
Gilbert has mental

handicap. He likes

doing gardening

work and cleaning

the compound.

He’s able to work

with supervision. He’s

very much in need of

food shelter and clothing.

He is a total orphan and his

parents cannot be traced

since he was brought in the

school from the children

remand centre.

WORKSHOP CLASS 4

Vivian Akinyi (born in 1994): Vivian have problems with communication verbally. She likes to do the laundry, washing, mopping and making new friends.

Pauline Atieno Onyango
(born in 1989):
She has partial hearing problem and is intellectually challenged. Pauline can’t speak well. She likes to do crocheting, laundry work and taking care of the young ones.

Devis Owaka
(born in 1997):
Devis has mental handicap he doesn’t speak but follows verbal instructions. He likes to do sweeping, mopping and laundry work.

Bether Achieng (born in 1989):
Bether has mental handicap, she can’t speak but she can heares everything. She likes playing with her doll and making new friends.

Anna Achieng
(born 1990):
Anna has the down syndrome condition
She likes to clean the tables, laundry work and mopping. In her free time she likes to dance.

Isabella Sigona
(born in 1990):
Isaballa has mental handicap and has speech problem. She likes playing with dolls and doing girls stuff.

Beryl Akinyi,
(born in 1992):
Beryl has mental handicap and has difficulties with verbal communication. She likes doing laundry. She’s a very social girl.
